• View profiles: user, event, event series, and location

• Notify the user when there is a new event in an event series they follow

• Make it easier for people to discover things when they visit the site for the first time

  • A user can follow a course and be notified when there is a new offering
  • A user can follow / join a course offering to be notified / reminded of classes
• Mailing lists
  • A user can manage their email list and automatically send a weekly newsletter of updates from their profile.
  • If a user signs up from an email from the list they are removed from the mailing list and set to follow the user
